Dear Eddy Just wanted to send this email to say thank you very much for a wonderful holiday 'Soul in the Sun'. We know how hard you must have worked to make it such a success and run so smoothly. It was our first 'Soul in the Sun' but it wont be our last. We had a fantastic time, music excellent, dancing wonderful and lots of new good friends. The Sands Beach Resort was super and we really couldn't have asked for anymore. I think we laughed from the moment we arrived till the moment we got home. Big pat on the back for all the hard work you and your family do for cancer research charity - it is a topic close to home.

Just wanted to e-mail you to thank you for a brilliant holiday. As you know it was the first time we have been to soul in the sun so we have nothing to compare it with. All I can say is it was one of the best experiences in my life. The fancy dress was out of this world, I don't know where people got their idea's from. We are already planning what to wear next year (sad isn't it!). You must have worked really hard to co-ordinate everything so well. We already know a few people who was there from different venues but we have made friends with so many other people who want to keep in touch, all the 'veteran soul in the sunners' made us feel welcome and they said it was the best event that they had attended.

Hi Eddy Can I just say what a fantastic time was had by all in Lanzarote (I had been to a ‘Soul in the Sun’ a few years back in April 2005 so sort of knew what to expect, but nothing could prepare me for what was to come). It was my first time, also for Pat, Michael & Paul, to a fancy dress and what a day! I saw the pictures on the web site they were fantastic. The boat trip was a day to remember as well . I will certainly be there again next November and hoping to join you in April 08. Thank you for all your hard work and effort that was put into organising it.

Soul in the sun has wonderful! A brilliant atmosphere and is very well organised from the flights to arrival. And of course the wonderful Eddy who is the key to holding all the Soulies together. Quick witted and the Brian Potter (Phoenix Club) of the event!

We loved the fancy dress! We were pleased that we were not the only Sheila's wheels, and to see my hubby doing the back drop in black high heels and a
pink sparkly dress was a sight many will not forget in a hurry! We are already planning "What the hell can we wear next year"?

What a fantastic first week in Lanzarote We didn't think it could get any better, but the music, accommodation, people, DJ's was absolutely fantastic. Hi Eddy We would like to tell you what a fantastic week 1 we had in Soul in the Sun. We enjoyed last years in Tenerife but this years out shone that by a country mile. What can we say about the venue but outstanding in everything. The music was out of this world very across the board' I am not into Modern a great deal but it was brilliant to go downstairs for a change to listen to it and really enjoyed it very much. The fancy dress well not much to add to what you have said * Brilliant* we dressed up for the first time in easy get up ( Blues Brother ) but we really felt part of it wished we did it last year. Thank you Eddy and Sugarlips and to all the DJ's for a fantastic holiday of a lifetime in my books. Well done Eddy and Sugarlips for great organisation and hard work and I am praying that it will be there again next. Just wanted to thank you for what was a brilliant time last week in Tenerife. As you know it was our first time and we enjoyed every minute. Didn't see much of Tenerife but what the hell! We just switched off for the whole week and it was great. All the DJ's were fantastic and the music was spot on. It was good to have such a cross section. Were a bit deprived here in the South for events and have to travel around quite a bit. So for us last week we just couldn't get enough. It was also good to see the youngsters enjoying and dancing to the music. I don't know the low down on old Jungle Jim, but all I can say is he had us in stitches one evening as MC Hot Dog. Both venues were really good. Cant wait till November and Lanzarote. Wish we'd booked for 2 weeks now, but I'm not sure the liver or the wallet would stand up to it!!!!!

Just had to contact you to say a great big THANKS for my first ever Soul in the Sun experience and the best holiday I’ve ever had. It was in a word “Awesome”, the venues, the great people and of course the music. We met and made lots of new friends who we are going to keep in touch with back in England.

If I had to pick the highlight of the holiday it would have to be the Monday fancy dress day, it has to be experienced to be believed! 400 people in fancy dress doing the conga along the beach front!

All the holiday makers and locals were “gob smacked” at that sight and so was I, and better still I was part of the show . The only thing that was missing for me was the chance to go back in time and attend all the previous “Soul in the Suns” that I have missed.

A Big Thanks again for everything and all your hard work putting it all together.

Just wanted to say thank you for Soul in the Sun, we went for our first time in April and it was fantastic...a week of sun, sea, sand and soul, it just doesn't get any better than that.

The whole atmosphere was so relaxed with 200+ like minded people all enjoying the music we all love, We met a lot of new friends with whom we have had some great soul nights since our return. Soul in the Sun was my 1st trip abroad and obviously my 1st experience of flying which literally brought tears to my eyes!!!! not ashamed to admit I cried during take off but it was worth every missed heartbeat and racing pulse, I also cried on the way home but for different reasons this was by far one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

We are already planning for March would like to of gone again in Nov but till I'm on a DJ's wages ! 1 holiday a year will have to do !!!!! looking forward to the reunion in Kendal in July not quite Tenerife eh but just as good
